39th Annual Holly Tour


The annual Holly Tour will be held on December 3, 4, 10, and 11.  This years theme is "Dreaming of a White Christmas".  Be transported to Christmas past as each room is decorated to depict holiday traditions of different time periods.  Also enjoy Civil War Christmas encampment, live Christmas music as well as complemenatry apple cider and cookies served in the kitchen building after the house tour.

DECEMBER 3RD -    The Civil War encampment and house will open for 
                                visitors at 2:00pm. 
                                The house will close for tours at 8:00pm. The Victorian 
                                Ensemble will be performing from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.

DECEMBER 4TH- House and Civil War encampment will open at 2:00pm
                                for visitors. The Civil War encampment will be closing 
                                at 5:00pm, and the house will close for tours at 8:00pm.      
   Civil War Reenactors portray the life of soldiers during the holidays. You will learn what activities the soldiers would be participating in during their encampment. The following are some of the activities:  gift giving, mail distribution, chess,  horseshoes,  card games, and even wood whittling.
DECEMBER 10TH- House opens for tours at 5:00pm and closes at 8:00pm. There will be a Civil War
                                          Christmas encampment                              



 DECEMBER 11TH - House opens for tours at 2:00pm and closes at 8:00pm. The Victorian Ensemble will be                                                                                  performing from  2 - 5pm in the Victorian Parlor.                                            


 Admission Donation: $5.00 for adults 

                                              $1.00 for children 11 years old and under

                                                    (Admission tickets are sold in the gift shop. Upon arrival, visitors

                                                     need to go to the gift shop to purchase tickets for the tour.)


   As you enjoy the complimentary cookies and cider, please take some time to check out our homemade

   baked goods available for purchase.  We will have our freshly baked plain and cinnamon bread, cookies, 

   and sweets.  For our guests who like our spiced cider, you can now purchase the cider and mulled mix to 

   make it to serve to your holiday guests
